, I'm new here. yesterday I've bought sof 1 - 3 on GOG and wanted to play sof2 gold v1.03 online. the problem now, I can't find any server. how can I setup the game to get all active server? and how can I play the game without getting banned by punkbuster cause I don't want to lose my original key. (sry for my bad english - I am german)

Download the patched exe's.

Not many servers use Punkbuster anymore. And I doubt you got an original CD key with your purchase from GOG.com.

Back in 2006 Activision really screwed this game over by selling all new printed copies of SoF2 with the same CD key. A huge shit on the community. I still get mad thinking about that lol.

New players were globally banned and couldn't play on servers with PB enabled. They were forced to use a key generator.

But even with a key gen they couldn't play on PB servers unless the server had a specific setting (pb_sv_guidrelax 4), but not many people knew that back then so it really hurt SoF2 as a whole.

If you do experience problems with Punkbuster servers you will have to download a key generator.
