hey all about the mod what i do u all can download it in

explanations about the mod are and instructions:


**************Instalattion******************

-if u have any other mod in rocmod/mp folder remove this

- if u have any weaponsmod in your rocmod or mp folder remove this

- put the kingsMod_V2.pk3 into your rocmod folder

- put the file called weaponsmodEFX.pk3 into your rocmod folder if u want to see the tracer efx of the weapons

-put the file called weaponsmodNORMAL.pk3 into your rocmod folder if u don't want to see the tracers of the weapons

- if u are using the extra menu called "z_ExtraRocMenu" remplace this one for the one what i include


//*********** general explanations **************

I do this mod in special for my clan kings of war, this one have some custom things like unique commands, extra skins, fonts menus, tracer effects for the weapons, models, custom loading screen, etc



//************ objetive explanations ***********

-client cvar added : cg_customfont "namefonthere"

-client menu added: Fonts Menu where u can easily choice the font what u want to use in the chat just with 1 click, this menu was made in remplace of the most ignored menu called "about"

-More commands added in the rocmod menu:

extra admin powers: in roc mod menu are some extra admin cmds what i do like:

/adm fly id (then the player can literally run in the sky, in the sky u can just run, i also remove the weapons cause the objects like the knives can touch the enemys from down, then for evite any posible abuse of this command to take advantage i just remove the weapons...is for fun, not for "cheat".

/adm godown id (the inverse of the last one, u can buried the player and send him outta of the map, it's a punish command, the player have his weapons removed and also the command /kill dont work, he can just do nothing....thats the reason its a punish command.


/adm runover id (original adm power of the old rpm mod, i just code this to make this one work for rocmod too, with little modifications by me).

extra rangs: the commands to add the extra rangs has been added in the rocmod cmds list, in rocmod the max is sysop i add:

/rcon addcofounder id

/rcon removecofounder id

/rcon addking id

/rcon removeking id

/rcon addqueen id

/rcon removequeen id

/rcon addbadgirl id

/rcon removebadgirl id

*note: The extra cmds work just in kings server in special for the admins and more high.



//******************* Extra skin **************************


Explanation: Like you know the old mods like rpm support just 5 team skins, in rocmod this was expanded to 6, and now i expanded this again to support 7 players skins in every team gametype.

Note: there are not just 1 skin who remplace some other how u can easily do downloading some character skin, the difference is this extra character skin dont remplace any old skin, u can choice from 7 skins

Note2: I'm bad for edit images (with photoshop etc) then if u wan edit the extra skins like u want (if u know how) just do it for yourself, cause are just normal skins (not very edited)

Note3: these skins properly work in kings server, cause this need a change in the client mod what the server is using.



//************** Weapons *******************


Explanation: The Mod include many weapons models what are afloat on the internet timeago, i don't do the models (the images) i just code to make some models work for rocmod servers modificating the "inview", with some personal additions.

Tracers: In this download i also include 2 weapons mod what i do, called --> weaponsmodEFX.pk3 and weaponsmodNORMAL.pk3 .....

weaponsmodEFX: if u use this one in your rocmod folder u see many tracer efx like lasers for mp5, ak, sig, m4 also some trail efx for the knifes, fire nade and smogh.

weaponsmodNORMAL: if u don't like the tracers efx cause u think they are annoying, just remplace the other one for this one and u dont see any efx.



//***************** Screen *****************

The screen is pretty normal and basic....nothing special...i just include 1 extra image to frame the timeleft, the hour, and 1 extra text what say: kings mod.

console: nothing....i just revive one old shared what for some reason was not using in the rocmod 2.1c

radar: ....just the basic radar with different colours, and 1 shared who make him rotate...

hud: where u see the weapons was remplaced for 1 more simple and transparent to gain visibility......a very little inspirated in cgs mod....but very little....


//**************** Extra menu ******************

this mod include 1 extra menu to customize the font what u want to use in the chat....to make this properly work be sure:

- I know many players use the extra menu called "Admins" if u use this u dont see the text "Fonts Menu"....if u like the Admins menu and u dont want to remove this don't worries! i also include the same menu little modificated to don't affect the fonts menu....i also take the ooportunity to change some messages of this menu ....THEN if u are usin the admin menu please remplace this for the one what i include in the download.

Note: I don't take any credit of this modificated admins menu, this was so hard like create a bind (nothing), also the modifications was for don't disturb my fonts menu, nothing more, the credit still 100% for the corresponding creators of this menu.


//************** Chat/ScoreBoard ******************

-Well obviusly the font chat can be configured now...and also this kings mod support emoticons for the chat.

-The roc Scoreboard was remplaced for the IM Scoreboard ....i allways like this one

*Note: i'm very bad for edit images, then the graphics are very simple...if u want (whoever u are) u can easily edit the images just opening the kings mod v2.pk3 for yourself.....the more important things in the mod i do coding and editing files....

this needs a special server side mod or just you can use it for every rocmod 2.1c version? (For exemple in my server)

the extra adm powers and rangs need a server side....and work just in my server...but others things like the fonts menu weapons load screen etc work in every rocmod server.....

I've always seen release Client + Server mod, not only the client side except for the client mods which already works in a previews Server side is because i wrote. why don't you also release a server version?  Smile

There are alot client side version only without the serverside released with it?

You have the Kings mod than, XS Mod, PP client, Fenix Mod or something, PWN Bot...
But Yeah it would be great if we could enjoy with the server side mods in the servers.

mmmm.....yeah i can post a server mod to make this complete....but not with all the rangs , and things what my server use cause i want to diserve these things to my clan.....but i can do a server mod with 1 extra rang + extra adm powers  + the name of the rang previous to the name of the player in the chat (like **admin** playername , **sysop** playername **Owner**?? playername etc )  very fast Smile

Ranks doesnt matter, if there are the basics like Referee, player, spec, admin, Sysop.

ye just a basic is nice, you could relese a server mod for the community different between what you run for your clan so you can keep the exclusive for it giving to other a new version at same time Wink

ok server side added...with all the pk3 needed....the client is the same just with the scoreboard modificated to show the "owner" rang

installation:

- Go to your rocmod /vm folder of your server and remplace the "sof2mp_game.qvm" for the one what i include in the download

- If u wanna see the extra skin u need to remplace the rocmod2.1c.pk3 for the one what i include inside the folder called rocmod2.1c_forserver

- Restart your server

- Done.

Features (what i have with this mod?):

-Crash Server fixed: like u all know rocmod servers crash cause the "excessive" use of the symbols "&" "@", and some idiots have fun crashing server in this way ...well its now not a problem.

- Extra Rang: "owner" rang added.
*Characteristic: Immunity to the sysop and all...no one can touch you...if someone try for example to "strike" you he see this message "u can't use this power in your superiors".
Also u are invisible in spec.

-Rangs prefix names: the name of the rang what your members have appear before his name, example ** Clan ** playername ....

-Admin privileges change: In rocmod active admins have some priivileges like follow the enemy and spec the enemy like in ghost mode...these privileges was thinked for "rightly watch the cheaters" ..but i don't see the point and i see this like a unfair advantage for admins, and a lot of persons see this like a way of cheat, i think this too and for this reason these privileges are disabled in this rocmod version. equal conditions of gaming for all : )

-When someone get some rang all see in the screen the message "a new -rangname- has been added"

-extra skin: in rocmod the max in team gametypes like ctf is 6 with this mod u have 7--> the extra skin work just if u also have the client side.

- And other little things what don't diserve to be mentioned.

Hi Floo,

I dont know if i did something wrong but the commands arent working.

I Uploaded the vm folder into rocmod folder.
I Uploaded the Client side mod into the rocmod folder.
I Uploaded Rocmod_Forserver to normal sof2 path,

Now im going ingame and i added myself as Sysop but if im going into the Admin Panel and Select Fly and add to Punisher its saying:

Unknown command: Fly

hi mate,

Playing with my lil brother on kings mod.
Getting an G_empty Register sound error each 3rd kill,
1st kill nothing happens, second kill nothing happens, 3rd kill give me the sound error.
I tried doing with the pk3 included and without pk3 included, same for client thing.

hi punisher!

yes this was a line in the code what was causing the problem in the client side

a momment ago i put in downloads 1 update of the mod with all fixed (i think )
